Imagine my surprise when I finished this month's budget report and find that I spent $105/week on food in December. I only spent $60/week in November. Somewhere this month I spent $40 extra PER WEEK! In college, I spent less than $40/week. Holy Mother of Pearls!! I'm eating more money than the entire household did in college!
In desperation, I am going to blame the holiday party, the return to non-Paleo "celebrations," and one pizza I picked up for a celebration at work. Surely, that doesn't cover the extra $120, but it's a start. I should also note that I made a total of 30 trips to the grocery store this month. As surprising as that statistic is though, that's no change from previous months. I work right next to a grocery store; it's easy and convenient to grab a couple things after work.

Questions
1. How often do you go to the grocery store?2. How much do you spend on groceries in a week? (Feel free to clarify how many people it's for)
I average around $50-60/week
3. Since training began this month, I'm not going to eat myself out of apartment and home, am I?!?!
I accept care packages and gift cards for groceries. =D

You will eat, eat and eat some more during your Iron training. When you're not sleeping or working out you'll be eating. Get use to it! LOL
I like to plan my family's meals in advance, so I usually go to the store once a week. But, there's always times when I forget something and have to go back!!
During IM training I ate a ton too..it was crazy! IM training definitely gets expensive!!
ugh, I need to start keeping track actually but off the top of my head I'd say we spend about $140 a week. Yikes! That is for three people and includes three meals a day for all of us.
Sadly I have noticed that eating healthy is actually MORE expensive. Fresh fruits and veggies just cost more and you have to go to the store more often to get them.
I am going to make a plan to ensure I am getting the most out of my $$$$.
