Friday Trail Run - Now THIS is Living!

My sister says I look like my Dad in this photo.  I don't see it.

Checking in from the top of Heublein Tower in Talcott Mountain State Park!

Got a Friday off and decided to make use of the decent weather we're having in CT to check out the trails before snow hits (unlikely in CT).  Other than a few detoured streams due to large, downed trees, it was an awesome trail run.  Then at the top, I stopped and spent some time at the cliffs rereading Eragon.  The final book in the Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini finally came out this month and I decided to refresh the story before I get to finish it.

Since I work tomorrow and I know most of you work today, I hope you have as much fun Saturday as I did today!

Questions
1.  How did you spend your Friday?
Morning trail run, reading, cooking mushrooms (which are delicious!), and the play I Hate Hamlet tonight.

2.  What are you currently reading?
I'm rereading Eragon by Christopher Paolini.  It may have an obsene amount of similarities to the plot of Episodes 4-6 of Star Wars, but it's still an amazing story.  I can't wait to see how he ends it.

P.S.  Paleo is going strong!  I haven't had any cravings for non-Paleo food in a few days.

Swim fast.  Bike smart.  Run hard.

That does sound like a great run! Jeremy Renner (of The Town) is the first person that comes to mind who you might look like...

What a nice race report. Glad you wrote it when you were fresh because it feels like we were there with you.
